The notes of the Handpan form a musical scale. A musical scale is a set of notes that always harmonize with each other, they are like brothers and sisters. So, even jumping from one note to another randomly, you always create a pleasant and satisfying melody. Furthermore, your creativity and sensitivity will push you to compose ever more complex melodies, all without ever having opened a book on music theory.
For those who have a basic of musical study, they will certainly achieve magical results in less time, while others will take longer. In my career, which has spanned over 20 years, I have seen and heard people incapable of reading sheet music create more magic than those who attended conservatories. This is another extraordinary quality of the Handpan.
Learn to vibrate the Handpan
The only thing you need to learn is the touch you need to give to the Handpan for it to start vibrating and giving emotions with its harmonics: in technical terms you need to make it vibrate. The Handpan should be touched with the pads of your fingers or thumb. It's a bouncing with the pads of the fingers, a touch and escape from the field known as a breath of wind. The touch must be gentle, the Handpan is NOT a drum and it should not be struck like a drum
The exploration phase to learn to make it vibrate has different times for each subject, but it is impossible not to learn to make it vibrate... over time everything comes by itself, in a short time and without realizing it the harmonics will come out long and penetrating without any difficulty.
