In more than 20 years of experience and frequency in the world of the Handpan community, we have selected only the best musical scales. In more than 20 years, hundreds of musical scales have been proposed and/or invented, the most varied, with Arabic, oriental, Indian accents, etc... Over time, however, professionals in the field, people and professional players who are present in the world of the Handpan since the beginning, after all these years and hundreds of musical scales proposed/constructed, they wanted to do a bit of sorting to understand:
What are the best musical scales? Which musical scales
have left their mark on our community and still excite the imagination?
Against all expectations, the old school won, and I'm talking about the very first musical scales proposed /built. The best ones are in the (MINOR) and (CELTIC MINOR) scales.
MINOR scale
It lends itself well to meditation, concentration, mysticism. The neutral/classical MINOR scale without accents of any kind never tires and is very suitable for creating infinite melodies without ever getting bored.
CELTIC MINOR scale
It has earned a place as the best musical scale, now a point of reference for the Handpan community. This is because the MINOR CELTIC accent always fits in in a very polite and delicate way and gives those who play it a tireless emotionality, it is very meditative and mystical and able to offer infinite melodies.
On the contrary, other accents (Arabic, Oriental, etc.)..very beautiful and exciting musical scales (especially the ARAB musical scales) but...after a certain period it was found that the majority of players get tired.
